What you will be working on
As the Server Engineer you will be working alongside the other members of the team performing the challenging technical IT operational support function managing the data storage, the backup and the server infrastructure to maintain availability, capacity and security of the infrastructure components.

You will be working for a large public sector organisation based in central Norwich as a part of a wider team.

What you need to have - skills & responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will have the following:

• Formal enterprise server training
• Proven significant and demonstrable understanding of enterprise level technical IT infrastructure engineering: Microsoft Windows, Solaris Unix, VMWare and SAN technologies
• Experience covering networked environment using physical and virtual server implementation, backup/archiving/restoring
• Experience providing technical expertise to enable to the correct application of operational procedures
