A leading cyber security consultancy are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their UK team. They are looking for advanced technical specialists to join their UK security function, and work with several high-profile clients across a multitude of sectors.
This is ideal for someone with a strong experience of Microsoft Windows, Azure, VMware and Office365, who has experience working closely with clients to transform their security posture.
This is an opportunity for someone looking to work at a highly reputable consultancy, where they will be given a breadth of exposure managing the process from end-to-end for an internal system.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER:
- Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support to an internal IT function
- Work closely with the Security team, with infrastructure and IT Support
- Develop technology roadmap by working closely with senior leaders
- Take ownership of new IT solutions with the Head of IT
- Support network security processes such as cloud management, web filtering, email security and network access controls
- Oversee information protection technology vendors
- Oversee all Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
- Review and test new technologies for the information protection programme
- Work with senior leadership and stakeholders to communicate safeguarding needs
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR A SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINGEER:
- 5 years work experience as a Systems engineer, with 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support experience
- Experience with Azure is required
- Experience with Office365
- Experience with Vmware, VSphere, Active Directory, Windows and Server management is required
- Experience with network access controls and proxy management
- Strong experience with firewalls, web filtering, DLP and email security
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with information lifecycle management, and network and infrastructure security
