Do you have a passion for Cyber and Risk Management? Are you able to manage stakeholders in the service management space? The Home Office are looking for a Senior Service Manager to join as a Cyber Risk Manager and demonstrate their expertise and lead in a fast-paced environment. The Home Office are looking for a talented individual who can hit the ground running, taking responsibility for liaising with a range of stakeholders, assuring delivery of services and effectively influencing change within one of the largest government organisations.
Your new role:
As a Senior Service Manager within Risk Management, you will have a strong background and level of experience in Risk Management, and in particular understanding cyber security and information risks. You will interface with Home Office Cyber Security, Technology Delivery, Service Architecture & Transition, Service Operations & Programme Portfolio colleagues to assure the delivery of their objectives while aligning service and design decisions to the departments risk appetite. A successful Senior Service Manager within Risk Management will have the following skills or strong experience in:

A successful Senior Service Manager within Risk Management will have the following skills or strong experience in:
- Understanding service and cyber security
- Using your understanding of the different communication channels and formats to effectively engage with various audiences, adapting your approach where required
- Understanding how your current work fits into broader Enterprise Services contexts and strategies so that deeper underlying problems and opportunities can be identified
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience in the management of operational risk
- Detailed knowledge of risk governance frameworks and best practice
Desirable skills and experience include:
- Working in a SIAM model
- Working alongside or within a cyber security team or function
- Working experience of the ServiceNow toolset
- Driving continual service improvements through the measurement and challenge of services and processes, tools and capability
- Working independently and being self-motivated and organised
- Leading and directing teams to enable the day-to-day delivery of products/services

- A competitive salary of £37,450 - £41,193 Candidates that provide an exceptional demonstration of the necessary skills and experience may be subject to receiving a Recruitment & Retention Allowance of up to £8,300.
