Role : Reliability Engineer
Location : Co Durham Salary : £40,000 - £45,000
Hours of work : Monday â€" Friday 37.5

The role of a Reliability Engineer will include the below key area’s

  • To plan and deliver the instrument and electrical engineering activities for the site
  • 95% of the role is planning, preventative maintenance the remainder 5% is completing IT tasks.
  • Develop and review task risk assessments to ensure the maintenance work we carry out is safe and best practice
  • Complete asset integrity and condition, reliability, production and fixed costs are achieved across the site.
  • Effective day to communication between planning, operations, maintenance and external contractors.
  • Provide direct and indirect support as onsite owner of operation systems IT.
Accountabilities of a Reliability Engineer will include the below key area’s

  • Full understanding and implementation of all relevant E/ I legal requirements and engineering processors.
  • Regular review of asset integrity and condition using a defined management process.
  • Manage preventative and predictive maintenance checks
  • Carry out annual review of asset condition and use as a the basis for maintaining an asset plan.
  • Support and uphold the relevant Process Safety Principles to ensure asset integrity
  • Maintain working knowledge of all plant equipment and changes in technology
Qualifications and skills required for the role of Reliability Engineer will include the key below area’s

  • Graduate E/I/ manufacturing engineer with 3+ years experience preferable to have previous experience with operations IT
  • Ideally have good understanding/experience of compounding lines
  • Excellent adherence to standards and compliance
  • Good analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking
  • Strong problem solving skills
