Prestigious opportunity with a Global Healthcare Software provider for a Cyber Security Analyst. With a new and modern location in Manchester Science Park, we are currently looking for talented, innovative, and passionate people to join an organisation that is at the forefront of pioneering how electronic healthcare data can be utilised to benefit patients and empower new models of clinical research.

As our Cyber Security Analyst you will be given the responsibility to:

  • Work closely with other members of the Technical and Operational Teams to support various projects across the organisation
  • Perform regular information security risk assessments and implement solutions
  • Keep up to date with current cyber security risks and mitigation techniques
  • Review current cyber security policies and procedures, and contribute to the further development of these
  • Have a prominent role during internal and external audits and assessments
  • Review and develop DR plans, backup, and logging approaches
  • Manage external and internal penetration testing and security scanning
  • Provide input and expertise for networking infrastructure and system development security concerns

If you possess a combination of any of the following skills then LETS TALK!

  • CISSP security qualification or currently studying for CISSP
  • Experience working in the field of cyber security
  • Experience working with sensitive, identifiable data in a regulated environment
  • Sound understanding of information security risk assessment and mitigation
  • Understanding of Cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS (ideally Azure)
  • SQL Server
  • Good knowledge of networking and infrastructure (virtualisation, firewalls, NVAs, proxies)
  • Experienced with internal/external security auditing and penetration testing
  • Familiarity with common security standards (e.g., ISO27001, SOC2)
