My client is an instantly recognisable firm who urgently require a Network Specialist to join and actively manage the administration of the Network Infrastructure (Cisco Switches, firewalls, VMware, wireless etc), provide hands-on technical configuration, 3rd Line BAU support and act as the escalation point for 2nd Line support staff.

THIS IS 4 DAYS A WEEK ONSITE

Key Requirements:
  • Proven Network Infrastructure Support / Engineering / Configuration experience within a large, enterprise environment
  • 3rd Line expertise (system monitoring, configuration and administration of Virtual and Physical servers as well as Network environments and virtual environments)
  • Experience of working on Projects as required, supporting the PMs in the Project delivery and build deployment, including providing technical advice.
  • Ability to perform on-site analysis, diagnosis and resolution of complex Desktop problems for End Users, recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site problem resolution for remote users as needed.
  • Cisco CCNA Routing & Switching
  • Working knowledge of:
\t\t - Security - ASA / FirePOWER/ ISE / ACS / DNS Umbrella / Threat Grid / AMP for Networks / \t\t\t\t Identikey / NetScaler
\t\t- Wireless - Wireless Networks (Cisco Wireless Controllers, Access Points, End Points) / Cisco Prime / MSE / Guest Services
\t\t- Routing & Switching - Cisco Catalyst and Nexus family access switches / Cisco routers / \t\t Software Defined Networking / DNA Centre
\t \t - Data Centre Networking (DCI) - Cisco Catalyst and Nexus family DC switches /MDS \t\t switches / Data Centre Network Manager (DCNM)
  • A track record of delivering IT services to good industry standards (ITIL, DevOps) without compromise on quality or client experience
  • Results orientated approach, possessing excellent problem-solving skills, able to work to deadlines, meeting and exceeding client service levels
  • Ability to help and develop other team members through coaching and knowledge sharing
  • Excellent communication skills
