You will be working for a high profile MOD Organisation who are currently using cutting edge technology to provide a reporting framework for maritime defence across the United Kingdom as well as globally.
Your new role
You will work as a windows system administrator working as part of the technical systems team, managing and supporting the organisations infrastructure including servers, systems, communications and services in a third line role. You will define and maintain the current configs, provide third line technical expertise, and use management software to collect platform and systems statistics and create reports and proposals for improvements.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working in an SLA driven environment
- Third line support experience
- Configuration/Installation of server/storage experience
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Good experience analysing, investigating, diagnosing and resolving complex and high risk problems using tools in a windows environment.
- Excellent understanding of infrastructure and software
- Work well in a team providing organisation and task management duties to the relevant parties
