Penetration Tester- Cyber Security

Penetration Tester â€" Permanent Job â€" £50,000+ Benefits â€" Location: Southampton/Hybrid Working

Hays Technology are delighted to be working with a unique and rapidly growing independent cyber security company looking to bring a new Penetration Tester into their highly skilled team.

What you will be doing:

You will be working within the Cyber and Penetration Testing team to support their clients from big corporates to small boutiques organisations. Day-to-day you will focus on testing networks, systems, and applications and report any vulnerabilities.

You will be working in a close-knit team of experts who deliver the highest standards of penetration testing. This company looks to develop their employees to ensure growth within the team.

What are we looking for:

The ideal candidate would haveâ€"

• Previous experience in security / penetration testing / ethical hacking
• Ideally a Degree in Computer Science/ Cyber Security or a similar sector or a professional qualifications for example GPEN, OSCP, CTOM or equivalent
• The ability to think creatively and strategically to penetrate security systems
• Carry out remote testing of a client's network, or onsite testing of their infrastructure to identify security vulnerabilities
• Very technically minded with a genuine interest in the field
• Teamwork skills, to support colleagues and share techniques
