Job Details

About Risk Risk isn’t going to disappear and the complex, ever changing environment makes it much harder to predict where new challenges will come from. But it represents an opportunity for businesses to transform and innovate, and discover hidden value. From the boardroom to back office, we work to protect and strengthen every aspect of business; from people to performance, systems to strategy. Through our invaluable insights and independent assurance we help discover and unlock real value. There is a huge amount of business change caused by disruption, including technology, regulation, or a factor in the broader environment such as Brexit and that gives rise to risk and uncertainty. Helping our clients identify and address those risks to give them and their stakeholders confidence in their business is the purpose of our new Risk Assurance Line of Service. As a business, we have been providing services related to risk within our wider Assurance practice. On 1 July 2020, we established this new Line of Service to better use the scale and breadth of our practice including many of the firm’s experts in areas such as regulation, cyber security, listings, actuarial, accounting, controls and internal audit. About TD&A Technology, Data & Analytics (TDA) brings together our technology and data capabilities, giving us a more compelling way of going to market as we work together to integrate our solutions to solve our clients’ problems. Here we ve accelerated our ability to innovate and develop new types of services for our clients - whilst maintaining the identity and market leading capabilities of data, technology and analytics.About the team
Our Risk (Technology, Data & Analytics) practice is looking to recruit exceptional individuals with extensive experience in health technology. As either a Director or Senior Manager (depending on experience) within our TD&A health business, you’ll work with the latest technologies, and iconic organisations on projects that are driving the future of health in the UK. Our Directors and Senior Managers are expected to lead client engagements, create new opportunities and contribute to the development of our people.

TD&A represents a strategic priority for PwC due to the increasing demand from organisations to manage technology and optimise the technology and data they use, particularly with the maturity of Cloud technologies. With the
development of Integrated Care Systems, the need for a strong and resilient technology backbone across the health sector has never been more important and in response we are seeing the instigation of digital and data strategies both across the NHS and private sector health.

About the role
We are looking for individuals with a track record of delivering health related technology projects into the NHS and private sector health organisations. We are looking for demonstrable experience of developing digital and data strategies for NHS trusts and other health organisations, playing senior roles in projects such as modern EPR or PAS implementations and leading the development of initiatives to maximise the use of data and data analytics.

Being mobile is essential as you’ll work on client projects that could be anywhere in the country â€" or even the world. The same goes for your skill set â€" intellectually curious, dynamic and the ability to challenge the traditional approaches to deliver real transformation. Ultimately, an open mind to take advantage of all of the opportunities on offer is essential.

The essentials
  • Demonstrable track record of key leadership roles in the health sector around the development of digital and data
  • strategies, implementation of EPR and PAS systems and leading the investment in modern data analytics to improve
  • insight and patient health.
