Hays is delighted to be offering a Systems Administrator Role based in Hemel Hempsted
Your new role
You will be required to look after Systems in a Multinational Global Company to ensure the smooth operation of clients, Servers and storage Infrastructure in their headquarters and Data centres.
What you'll need to succeed
- Completed vocation training in the field of computer science
- Several years of professional experience, especially in
- System and network management of Microsoft platforms (Server 2016, 2019 and Windows 10)
- administration of virtual servers and MS clusters
- administration of Office 365 and Azure cloud services - In depth knowledge of following technologies
- Linux OS i.e., Ubuntu, CentOS - ADS
- DNS
- MS SQL
- SCCM
- Citrix SBC
- VDI
- SAN and storage systems
- Customer and service focus
- Initiative and independence
- Sense of responsibility and the ability to assess risks
- Systematic and analytical work
- Willingness for constant further training
- Goal and solution focus
- Resilience, in particular the ability to work in a concentrated manner even under deadline pressure
- Flexibility, especially the willingness to travel and work outside the normal working hours
- Entrepreneurial thinking
- Ability to work in team
- Good written and spoken English language skills
