We are currently working with a public sector client based in the Stratford-upon-Avon area who is looking for a Field Network Engineer to join their team for an initial 2-month contract with possibility of extension. The role has a day rate of circa £300 a day inside IR35. Expenses will be provided but successful applicants should have their own vehicle and clean UK driving license.

Your new role
As the Network Engineer you will be based out of the Stratford Upon Avon office. There will be a mixture of working from home and working from other sites located across the country. You will be involved in a greenfield site project, assisting in the design and configuration of Switch VLANs for various IT systems, liaising with project managers to assist in the documentation of various systems. You will be setting up the MPLS network links, liaising with the telecoms provider, installing the telephony system as well as the computer, laptops printer and specialist hardware.

You will have experience with;

• Cisco Switch, Router, Wi-fi (Meraki) installation, config and troubleshooting experience.
• Mitel telephony â€" account creation and management, fault diagnosis (for pass on to 3rd party support) â€" including call recording integration management (Red Box)
• Understanding and management of telephony systems, both on premise and cloud (e.g. Siemens / Unify on Premise, SIP routing and Amazon Connect cloud based telephony)
