About the role:

I currently have an exciting opportunity an IT Security â€" Administrator who will be responsible for maintaining the IT Network and Infrastructure for my client along with the delivery of Project, changes and 3rd line support, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded and service level targets are met. The role will also lead on Information and Security Assessment Activities.

Key Accountabilities:

• Involved in the provisioning, decommissioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems, hardware, software and related infrastructure you will perform assigned security risk and compliance reviews on systems/processes in a timely manner in line with established policies and procedures.

• You will be focused on IT/Information Security systems including Anti-virus, DLP, Email and Web Filtering, Firewalls, Audit and monitoring systems and responsible for the tracking and reporting of technical vulnerabilities.

• Acting as an 3rd line escalation point for Incident, Problem and Change Management you will be managing KPIs ensuring 3rd line incidents, problems and changes are resolved, with emphasis on IT and Information Security incidents.

• Ensuring systems and users maintain compliance with security policies, procedures and governance you will Identify and escalate any areas of non-compliance as appropriate and investigate any unauthorised access, in compliance with relevant legislation and maintain and control access rights, security records and documentation.

What are we looking for?

You should have experience in a similar role in a commercial environment and a working knowledge of the components of our technical architecture including:- WAN, Network Switches, Hardware load balancer, Storage Area Networks, SQL Clustering and Always-on, Backup topology, Firewalls, Intrusion detection, Anti-virus, 2 Factor Authentication, Hypervisors, Terminal Servers, Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM, VOIP Telephony and Windows Server & Desktop With Knowledge of business models and associated processes used within an organisation you should also possess knowledge of Project Management Methodologies. With Security+ along with technical Certifications (Microsoft, VMWare & Cisco), ideally you should have ITIL Foundation and a willingness to work towards a security certification (CISSP, CISM).

You should have the ability to organise your own workload to business priorities whilst providing excellent customer service skills and be a strong team player.
