What you’ll be doing
You will be providing a high level of technical support to the company on all aspects where you will take responsibility for the monitoring and management of systems availability, capacity planning, disaster recovery, security and contingency arrangements. IT security policies and standards need to be met. You will help mentor 1st Line engineers to resolve issues and improve services. Technical progress will need to be monitored and recommendations on fixing major technical issues will need to be made. You will also be expected to take part in the budgeting, estimating, planning and objective setting activities for the work of the IT Department.

Who you’ll be working for
Located in a Bristol you will be working for a legendary company, whilst being very successful they retain a friendly collaborative feel. You will be working in a small friendly team within the company resolving IT related issues.

What we are looking for
We are looking for a friendly systems engineer at a 2nd Line level. You will be in a hybrid role so will need to be able to travel into Bristol. You will need to have a minimum of 2 years in your current IT role, you will also need to of had a minimum of 18 months in you current role dealing with Microsoft Azure/Teams technology. Essential Skills:
  • Microsoft Azure/Teams technology base.
  • PowerShell
  • Microsoft Windows server and desktop environment including 2016 Hyper-V clusters.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP network principles.
  • Great communication and customer services skills.
  • Collaborative.
  • Mentoring abilities.
