Linux Engineer â€" Help a modern software company establish a new cloud infrastructure using AWS â€" 3-month contract

Who You Will Be Working for:

You will be working for a modern software company, located in Scotland. This company is looking for an experienced linux engineer to join their high-performing team and aid them with establishing a new cloud infrastructure using AWS. This role is initially 3-months and is fully remote. The rate for this role is between £350 - £450 per day and is outside IR35

What You Will Be Doing:

This award-winning company is currently moving from on-premise storage onto the cloud. Their current systems are running off linux and require a Linux engineer to aid with the process of migrating to AWS.What They are Looking For This company is looking for an experienced Linux engineer who can hit the ground running with this project. You will have a strong understanding of Linux (Ubuntu and Centos) and have experienced of architecting solutions within an AWS environment, ideally migrating systems from on-premise to the cloud.

You will be comfortable administering Windows and macOS operating systems and architecting and administering of source control environment (SVN, GitLab, Bitbucket).You will be an expert in your field and have experience of building automation systems such as Jenkins and understand disaster recovery concepts. Through your expertise, you will have a strong understanding of cyber security concepts within a cloud environment and experience of VPN/VPC's and basic network connectivity.
