HAYS Technology are working with a wonderful organisation who are looking for four individuals to join them ASAP for roughly 8 weeks. 2 of these roles will be based in South Tyneside and 2 will be Sunderland based. These positions require candidates who have worked within IT previously, supporting users and staff with a range of tasks.
Key duties within the role will involve:
• Unboxing and installing hardware
• Maintaining and repairing networks, peripherals and helping colleagues troubleshoot the problem
• Helping staff answering to emails and chats regarding technical issues
• Keeping a detailed record about network configuration, peripheral specification, problems, and solutions
• Supervise and process help desk support requests
• Perform routine PC maintenance
• Update work station for office staff
• Assist in software and hardware upgrades
• Provide technical assistance to staff when needed
You should have experience within:
• Knowledge of configuration/installation of PC applications, peripherals and hardware.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Windows
• Proficient in using Office and/or other Desktop applications.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
