InfoSec Analyst - SOC

SUMAMARY:
A non-profit organisation is actively looking for an InfoSec Analyst to join their rapidly expanding cyber team. The InfoSec Analyst will be responsible for assisting the development of security throughout the organisation by improving current practices and implementing new technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN INFOSEC ANALYST:

• Proactively monitor a variety of different areas/systems/tools to maintain the security of the organisation
• Engage in activities to enable security to become seamless
• Take part in incident response activities when required
• Conduct threat hunting activities to identify vulnerabilities
• Conduct investigations on security issues and compile results within a report to be presented to managers
• Conduct analysis on log data which is gathered from the SIEM tools

 
REQUIREMENTS OF AN INFOSEC ANALYST:

• Previous experience implementing & maintaining technology security practice within a cloud and on-site environment
• Hands on experience with Ticketing tools and SIEM tools
• Previous experience working within a similar role
• Understanding of relevant security frameworks
• Previous experience working within a client facing role (desired)
