Your new role
Your job will be installing and upgrading security software and testing new products. What is more, you will be monitoring client firewalls, networks and other devices, testing network systems and looking for any weaknesses or security holes. You will be working as a part of a team and responding to security breaches.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in creating Splunk security alerts
• Skills in network intrusion monitoring and investigation (e.g. using Suricata or Zeek)
• Ideally both Microsoft and Linux security skills
• Using other technical security tools

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a temporary contract (initially 3 months with potential to be extended). The role will be working via an umbrella company and will offer a rate in the range of £180 - £230 per day depending on the skillset.
