A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is seeking Windows Server Support Engineer for a major financial services customer. 11-month contract, London based customer, remote role, Inside IR35

This technical role will require the incumbent to work on support issues, small projects and to help develop the systems infrastructure to meet the Windows Server Core Support team needs as part of a Global team responsible for the day-to-day support and enhancement of a mixed Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016 environment
The role will be a combination of day to day support activities and project work, with a focus on Business as Usual activities, this will involve liaison at all levels within the Information Systems and Business Communities.
Individual will be expected to be dynamic, flexible, energetic, willing to take responsibility, structured, process oriented and happy working to tough deadlines in a demanding environment.

Experience required
Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems Troubleshooting and Support.
Supporting Microsoft Clusters, IIS is essential
Windows Server patching and compliance using tools like WSUS & SCCM is essential.
supporting in Hardware issues on Dell/HP servers is essential.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in PowerShell (Advance Level)
Must be well orientated with Network, Security and Storage technologies,
Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy Management,
Experience of NetBackup, SCCM, SCOM, and O365 desirable
Experience with SQL Server, VMWare ESX5.x+, Citrix XenApp 6.x + is desirable
Understanding of CI/CD, Jenkins, Terraform, AWS, Azure desirable
