Front End Developer / Designer
Reporting to: Create Design Manager
Location: Any
Working hours: 35 hours per week following contractually agreed shifts (which may vary)
Duration: Perm

You will be expected to perform as a mentor and knowledgeable resource for Create and clients. This position requires full knowledge and application of the firm's visual identity and the team member will understand and anticipate clients' needs and expectations.
Working onsite with a client project team, or in the office, providing a valuable service to our KPMG clients. Output is frequently high profile; the quality, accuracy and timeliness of the end product is therefore of critical importance.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as part of the Create digital team to produce high-quality deliverables to the whole firm. We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced designer /developer with over 7 years of professional experience, with 2 years' experience in working for a corporate company like KPMG. Ideally you would have worked with KPMG already. You would have a history in digital and multimedia including HTMLS, CSS3, jQuery, Photoshop, Illustrator, GitHub and Agile. You are renowned for fast HTML and CSS coding, accuracy and attention to detail as well a relaxed temperament and great interpersonal skills.

The Person
Strong HTML5 and CSS3 skills, with a very good working knowledge of jOuery, JavaScript Libraries such as TweenMax and Tweenlite,. Considerable experience working with and developing both front-end and back-end for CMS systems with Umbraco as a must. Lengthy experience developing responsive and non-responsive HTML emails, and also HTML5 banners. Flash animation, scripting (AS2), and application development ranging from small business-to-business presentations to large corporate projects. Use of systems such as MediaMind and DoubleClick, creating HTML5 rich media advertising banners. Some experience working with video production, print production, and strong knowledge of audio production.

• Proficient in HTML/HTML 5 (hand coding), inline CSS, JavaScript
• Knowledge of email clients and methods to employ in order to get emails to display consistently across many email clients with a strong sense of web design and user experience fundamentals
• HTML creation from Photoshop files
• Able to manipulate images and use Photoshop
• Experience with MDM a benefit
• Design experience is a plus
• Experience of FTP programmes
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines
• Comfortable explaining issues and challenges to technical and non-technical colleagues
• Desirable - expertise in responsive email coding

Qualifications

• Degree or relevent workexperience in related discipline.
• Possess a solid working knowledge of CMS systems in php and .net (e.g. Joomla, Drupal, Umbraco) and asp (Magento,CQ5,. MCMS with SharePoint integration)
• HTML / XHTML, PHP, ASP, .net and CSS, Shopping carts, Mysql, PHP forms, Blogs and Forums.
• Strong knowledge of analyzing code and a great understanding of SEO principles within coding.
• Architectural planning and User Journey identification, data mapping and information delivery.
• Able to supply an up to date protfolio of own work.
