We are looking to hire an account manager to lead our work with Defence Intelligence and Defensive Cyber within our Digital Defence Services Business Unit.

Role Purpose

Shapes strategy to manage account relationships and drive/develop new relationships in MoD Defence Intelligence and MoD StratCom (primarily the Defensive Cyber sphere).
Takes responsibility for Order Intake and growth strategies for the Defence Intelligence account area and creates improved customer satisfaction through implementation of best practices to produce consistency in account management.

Role Accountabilities
  • Drives and shapes emerging business opportunities, establishes industrial partner relationships and provides leadership into the campaigns to secure the emerging opportunities.
  • Guides and influences our Digital Transformation offerings into this customer area and coordinates with operational support and sales teams to ensure customer intimacy.
  • Work collaboratively with the other Account managers to drive the growth of the BAE Digital Intelligence Defence business.
  • Drives the strategic planning for assigned accounts. Leads the annual planning and growth productivity framework processes to develop and deliver results. Develops strategy for account relations and implements processes to engender one company brand and view to the account. Partners with leaders and teams across the organisation to improve and/or redefine processes for results.
  • Drives account Order Intake (OI) goals for this account area.
  • Acts and makes informed decisions based on data against key metrics. Ensures that metrics are in place to measure key outcomes and oversees formulation of processes/standards to achieve productivity and revenue objectives for assigned accounts. Ensures appropriate financial structure and oversees the use of resources.
  • Leads and drives execution of business plans and standardises processes, including planning and implementation of operations, personnel, marketing, customer service and accounting programs and initiatives; monitors to ensure consistency and efficiency across appropriate groups.
  • Ensures and drives responsiveness to customers and identifies areas for improvements in service, staffing and operations that will increase customer satisfaction.
  • Influences the overall personnel activity of the area to ensures department resources are properly allocated.
  • Directs, manages, develops and oversees budget requests; ensures activities are appropriately funded, coordinated and managed according to the guidelines/constraints of resource allocations.
