Job Description
Large insurance firm seeks an experienced Security Consultant to work on an exciting large-scale transformation programme which is a 3 year programme to move legacy data from on-prem to a SaaS cloud solution (Azure).
This is a permanent role where you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to the workstreams, ensuring that security is built in (security by design) and that there is compliance with security policies. You will be responsible for ensuring that there are no holes left in the defences! You will look at due diligence of 3rd parties, managing expectations and ensuring security requirements are met.
It's a broad programme with 17 different workstreams. You will need to deal with external consultants on the programme as well as manage internal stakeholders. You must be comfortable to challenge where required.
Cloud Azure skills are required. Azure best practice understanding is needed, as well as Microsoft's cloud framework. If you have previously worked in financial services and have had experience of a major programme or project, that would be beneficial.
Remote working is readily available with the expectation being just one day a month in the London office for collaboration meetings.
