Your new company

You will be working within a multifunctional manufacturing organisation who are based in 3 sites across the UK. This organisation was founded in 1966 and they are one of the worlds leaders and second largest producer in Europe within their industry.

Your new role

As the IT Administrator your responsibility will be to provide and manage the IT Infrastructure (Network and Systems) for the organisation in compliance with group policies and procedures. You will be monitoring, supporting and responding to incidents through the company's email, phone and IT Helpdesk system. You will need to ensure that systems meet corporate standards, including monitoring applications, networks, servers, telecommunications IT Services and fault isolation.

What you need to know

• Previous experience in 1st/2nd Line Support
• Good knowledge of Active Directory & IP networking protocols
• Working knowledge of HP network Switches (configuration and support)
• Working knowledge of Firewalls, preferably Palo Alto.
• Remote software solution/support. i.e. SCCM, Teamviewer etc.
• Good knowledge of end-user systems based on MS Windows operating systems and in Active Directory domain environments
• Knowledge of VMware VSphere virtualisation
• Good knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN, VPN access network equipment
