Hays Technology has partnered with a reputable private sector client in financial services, looking for a Unix consultant to join their team for a period of 6 months (with possibility of extension).
Your new role
In this role, you will join the Specialised Infrastructure team, seeking to bring in 2 Consultants to supplement its Engineering and UNIX team for the build and roll out of its High Performance Kubernetes platform.
Specialised Infrastructure (SI) is a platform provider to the Markets business, it is a global team of over 80 who create bespoke platforms for Trading applications. This will be for a period of 6 months (with possibility of extension) at a rate of £600 per day Inside Ir35. This role is based in London and will incorporate hybrid working, requiring the candidate to be on site 2-3 days per week.
What you'll need to succeed
In this role you will mainly be exceptionally experienced with the following technologies: Kubernetes, Rancher & Unix. Some of your responsibilities in your new role will be to:
- Undertake work assignments which improve functionality of SI-Kubernetes under direction from the Engineering team
- Level 3 assistance to SI-UNIX to help fix SI-Kubernetes issues
-Onboarding assistance to new Users
What you'll get in return
You will work for a reputable private sector organisation based in London at a rate of £600 per day, for a period of 6 months with possible extensions. You will have access to hybrid working and are required on site for a minimum of 1-2 days per week. Flexible working options available.
