Our client is an American, now multinational and global wireless network operator that provides voice, data and video services and solutions on its award-winning networks and platforms, delivering on customers' demand for mobility, reliable network connectivity, security and control. They are one of the head businesses leading the 5G market and have multiple programmes giving educators tools to inspire and taking action for race & social justice issues. As well as having plans for economic, environmental and social advancement, one of their key deliverables for 2022 is continuing to lead society into the world of 5G creating, implementing and integrating Wi-Fi solutions into the client's existing networks. As such, they are now urgently seeking an experienced Security Consultant to help them on this journey.

Your new role
You will provide network security design and delivery expertise working within the Cyber Defence consultancy team and will need direct client engagement. You will need to take the lead in design and delivery of small to medium network security projects ensuring that solutions meet agreed business requirements and that required delivery methodologies are followed. Work closely with the assigned practice project manager you will ensure that projects are delivered to time and budget and to provide support to peers working on other projects within the practice. You will work with internal and external stake holders to understand business requirements and prepare appropriate technical solution designs at both high and low levels.

What you'll need to succeed
Your background in security consulting, design and delivery experience will lead to your success. You will have a minimum of 3-5 years in security consulting and bring technical expertise across a wide range of vendors ideally with very strong skills and knowledge in some of the following technologies: Cisco ASA, Check Point, Juniper, Palo Alto; Security Devices: Bluecoat Proxy, F5 (LTM, GTM, ASM), Zscaler; IDP/IPS: FirePower/Sourcefire IPS/IDS; APT: FireEye, Palo Alto WildFire; Broadcom Security Products, Network Access Control (NAC): Cisco ISE. You will need to be proactive and be able to work without direct day to day supervision, have strong presentation and written/verbal English language communications skills and have a minimum of 3-5 years of security consulting, design and delivery experience.
