Are you a driven and passionate Cyber Security Specialist, who is keen to secure an innovative opportunity? We would love to hear from you if you have knowledge of IT domains such as networking and operating systems and/or have working experience with gateway security technologies.

A bit about the job:
You will be a part of our amazing team of Gateway Security Specialist. The team provides resources, processes and technologies to identify and respond to information security/cyber threats, vulnerabilities and incidents in order to minimise adverse impact to Aviva, its customers and partners. Along with working to modernise our cyber technology estate across the entire Aviva group of businesses. As the Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a lead role in supporting and developing Aviva's gateway security polices to support business processes while reducing the organisations cyber risk profile and assist in global transformation of Aviva's defence processes, supporting a series of funded transformation activities.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Experience designing, implementing and managing perimeter security technologies; specifically, web proxy solutions such as Bluecoat, Zscaler, Cisco, McAfee etc
  • Have an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills to assist with reviewing logs, identifying problems and trends
  • Be driven when learning new technologies and/or getting involved in new areas of work
  • Ability to proactively own and handle problems through to resolution
  • Good interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and ability to comfortably converse with colleagues at all levels and across the organisation
  • Ability to lead others and provide technical guidance to team members
