  • A key role within the Facilities Operations team with primary responsibilities for the Watford office and offices with the region; Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Gatwick and Norwich.  Travel will be required between these offices.
  • Provide a single point of contact regarding all Facilities matters and react effectively to any queries or escalations that may be raised for the offices within area of responsibility.
  • Market Facilities and the Operational Excellence Hub by providing a first class service both internally and externally, thereby raising the profile of the services and improving Facilities' impact on the Firm's expenditure.
  • Where applicable, performance manage team members effectively to recognise high productivity and engagement in line with the PM role specification, supporting PM Toolkits and working closely with the Performance Leader for the community.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain close relationships with key internal and external contacts; identify opportunities to provide more effective services and better value for money to business/support units within the UK.
  • Provide a professional, proactive and reliable facilities service to all staff in the office by keeping up to date with Facilities best practice, ensuring requirements are clear and that service levels are input and maintained.
  • Ensure delivery of a consistently high standard of service at local level by managing and monitoring service contracts.  Assist with the development and implementation of service level agreements with relevant suppliers.
  • Assist in the preparation, formulation, review and updating of relevant Facilities procedures including process maps and SOP's and ensure they are fully adhered to.
  • Identify opportunities for improving value for money and make recommendations to the Regional Manager South for budgetary approval.
  • Produce information for monthly reporting, MI gathering and related statistics in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Provide a proactive support role in the preparation of the annual UK Facilities Business Plan ensuring that service standards and objectives set are met.
  • Drive environmental awareness within Facilities role by attending Corporate Responsibility meetings and being familiar with the KPMG Environmental policy.
  • Be fully conversant with the requirements of the Facilities health and safety policy, ensure that it is applied appropriately and set a leading personal example.  Co-ordinate on-site implementation of H&S systems.
  • Complete the NEBOSH Working Safely Course or current equivalent.
  • Conduct regular audits/health & safety inspections/annual food hygiene inspections, monitoring contractor activity to ensure maintenance of safe working procedures/service standards.  Ensure that any defects, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and incidents are reported immediately and according to the procedures laid down in the policy.
  • Host external and internal audit programmes on ISO 14001 (waste), ISO 27001 (information security) and OHSAS 18001 (health & safety) to ensure compliance.
  • Provide admin support by updating contractor information on a regular basis, attending meetings and producing concise, accurate meeting notes and co-ordinating in the production of the monthly report and related statistics.
