Job Description
Global consumer goods company seeks a Senior Security Engineer to join its Centre of Excellence in Portugal. The role can be worked fully remotely from anywhere in Portugal.
You will join a new team of 13 people, which will work in partnership with AWS to co-develop applications that support their product, manufacturing systems and logistics systems.
Your role will be to ensure the applications are secure by carrying out source code review, architectural design review, SAST/DAST and threat modelling. You will use your knowledge of shift left activities to support product feature development.
Across the business, you will work with Security Champions across the engineering teams to encourage security best practice.
You will perform security assessments/testing, review designs and provide solutions to allow the application to be secure.
This is a varied role in a large, complex and growing business which offers progression and future opportunities which are commensurate with a business of this size. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of application security with good knowledge of cloud, SAST/DAST and CI/CD pipelines.
