Responsibilities/Duties â€" System Administrator

As the Company’s System Administrator, you will work in a Global Data Center IT Department supporting the daily operation of the network and participate in project work as required by the business and client requirements. The Global Data Center is an international matrix organisation and as such you will report to the Head of Client & System Management to ensure the smooth and effective IT operation of clients, servers and storage infrastructure in the headquarters and datacenters of the Company.

Operate and maintain

- ADS and CA infrastructure
- Server- (Windows and Linux) and client infrastructure
- Virtual clients and servers (Hyper-V and VmWare)
- File, print, SCCM and SQL server environment
- SAN and storage equipment
- Data backup and archiving
- System management and monitoring tools
- Citrix farm and published applications
- MDM/EMM infrastructure
- Collaboration platforms
- Cloudapps Office 365 and Azure
- Create scripts to automate standard processes (PowerShell)
- Contact to system manufacturers and outsourcing partners
- Working on incidents, problems, and service requests within ITSM tool (2nd level support)
- Planning and implementation of changes and maintaining the configuration management database Projects
- Documentation and training
- Special tasks
- Participation in on-call duty


- Completed vocation training in the field of computer science
- Several years of professional experience, especially in
- System and network management of Microsoft platforms (Server 2016, 2019 and Windows 10)
- Administration of virtual servers and MS clusters
- Administration of Office 365 and Azure cloud services

In depth knowledge of following technologies

- Linux OS i.e., Ubuntu, CentOS
- Citrix SBC
- SAN and storage systems
