Our client is looking for a Cyber analyst to support their security teams. You will play a leading technical role in the provision of effective, efficient and fully integrated IT operational services that maximise their availability, integrity and security for end-users.

Your new role

• Supporting the implementation of network and computer security with varying complexities ensuring business strategies and processes are considered in translation to IT solutions;
• Ability to operate across organisation and computer technology 'silos' to drive common security approaches across the Trust enterprise architecture;
• Acting as champion for the department's ITIL Security processes, establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving the Information Security Management System.
• Provide support to Chief Security Officer in securing the enterprise architecture technologies when working with external vendors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Supporting Chief Security Officer in creating complex security structures

What you'll need to succeed

• Knowledge of Cyber Security and business continuity practice, techniques, industry best practice and standards
• Excellent interpersonal and explanatory skills in dealing with a wide range of information technology users from skilled to ICT-illiterate.
• Good technical knowledge to understand and resolve technical problems.
• Good knowledge of data protection and information security/governance issues. Good knowledge of providing proactive IT System/Network performance monitoring
• Security certification e.g. CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+, Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

What you'll get in return
Initial 3 month contract, £245 per day. Hybrid model 3-4 days in Portsmouth
