Role Purpose:

Collins Aerospace Systems, part of Raytheon Technologies, is on the lookout for an experienced Electroplater to join our team based in Wolverhampton..

Your Responsibilities
  • Preparation (e.g. masking and blasting) and Plating of various components using multiple wet processes, e.g. Hard chromium, anodising, cadmium, electroless nickel
  • Capable with training of performing any other chemical process within the manufacturing route
  • Operating to quality procedures as dictated by Nadcap requirements
  • Completion of plating technique sheets
  • Provide assistance in quality control systems, investigations (i.e. non-conformance reviews, root cause analysis), continuous improvement activity, etc.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
Experience and Skills
  • Competent in handling of hazardous substances and chemicals
  • Capable of reading drawings and understanding process specifications
  • Conversant with all HS&E requirements
  • Flexible and collaborative approach
  • Keen to participate in a continuous improvement and TQ focused environment
  • Calm under pressure and responsive to change
  • Good communication skills
