Collins Aerospace, part of Raytheon Technologies, is on the lookout for a Program Manager to join the team in Leighton Buzzard

Your Responsibilities

• Work autonomously with limited oversight leading small/medium projects and programs by developing program plans, schedules, and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility.
• Analyzes data and monitors programs to ensure adherence to contract scope of work, cost, schedule, and technical specifications.
• Develops, maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project/program to internal executive leadership and customers.
• Demonstrates continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Proactively identifies and addresses risks and develops solutions to problems which require critical thinking, creativity, and innovation to ensure the successful completion of projects/programs.
• Participates in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operational budgets, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization's interests.
• Identifies and capitalizes on program opportunities to increase company revenues and customer satisfaction.
• Leads program work with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with the program objectives.
• Manages vendors, when necessary, to support the program.
• Directs all program phases from inception through completion.
• Assists with the management of the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule and performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.

About you
The ideal candidate for this position will have a background and experience coordinating projects/tasks across a matrix organization and will be able to transition data and information between the various functional teams supporting the projects/programs. Ideally you will have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and some Program/Project coordination experience, with a focus in Operations/Manufacturing and experience using Integrated Project Scheduling software.
