L2 SOC Analyst

L2 SOC Analyst - £50-£70k – Remote Working – HQ London (Applicants must be UK BASED)
Have you been working as a SOC analyst for 2 years or more? Are you a confident L2? If so I have a great opportunity for a rapidly growing Finn Tech established in 2014. One of the fully regulated, leading and fully paperless banks in the UK.
Not only will you have the opportunity to work with some of the brightest SecOps individuals within the industry, you’re also exposed to the latest technologies. With innovation being at the forefront of this fantastic client, there will be plenty of room for growth as well as opportunities.
The ideal candidate for this role will have operated at an L2 level for a minimum of a year. With experience working in SIEM platforms as well as CSIRT or SOC functions. Someone looking to either step up or switch into working in an internal SOC. 
 
L2 SOC Analyst Responsibilities

• Incident Triage, Response and Investigations based on alerts
• Continually developing incident handling
• Proactive Threat hunting in line with threat intelligence
• End point detection and response
• Investigating security alerts based on users
• Cloud infrastructure/security

 
Experience

• Supporting Incident response management engagements
• Experience in endpoint based investigations
• Understanding of AWS Security Solutions
• Experience supporting analytics and SIEM platforms
• High level of understanding of network controls
