Your new role
• To be the security lead on technical and non-technical security projects such as data leakage prevention, control testing, threat intelligence and training/awareness projects.
• Drafting, reviewing and updating security policies, standards, procedures and effectively communicated
• Ensure Information Security requirements are documented, understood, adhered to and continuously improved.
• Help promote a security positive culture, supporting awareness events delivered by the Information Security team
• Engage and assess the security capabilities of third party service providers and associated products/services.
• Identify security related risks and provide guidance on how they can be managed effectively
• Liaise and work constructively and collaboratively with colleagues across the business and external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience of working within Cyber Security as a lead consultant. You will have had exposure to engaging with businesses attaining ISO accreditations, You will also be able to evidence work experience of audits, cyber insurance, and policy reviews. Preferably you will also have previous experience of leading a team or supporting to train team members.

What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available. Your new role has the possibility of extension after the initial 6 months, and is paying £550 per day inside scope of IR35
