Your new role

This role sits in the Cyber Accreditation team, who are responsible for the ongoing management and assessment of Cyber security risks and controls for the organisation. You'll be responsible for performing key tasks such as cyber risk assessments, project security assurance, and security concessions review and tracking. You'll also work closely with Security Architects to provide advice and guidance to projects and teams on how to ensure our systems are secure by design. In your new role you will:

  • Work as part of a team of security consultants responsible for accrediting the company's critical systems.
  • Engage closely with other Cyber disciplines to ensure the correct security controls are applied.
  • Ensure projects are subject to appropriate security assurance at the right stages.
  • Produce high quality Cyber Accreditation outputs, ensuring that identified risks are being handled appropriately.
  • Establish relationships with key partners, facilitating pragmatic engagement between the Cyber division and the wider Bank.
  • Contribute improvements to Cyber Accreditation processes and procedures.


What you'll need to succeed

Your profile

  • Relevant experience combined with an industry standard qualification, preferred CISSP, CISM, CITP or CCP.
  • Independently conducting Cyber Risk and/or Control Assessments.
  • Use of technical standards and frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53, MITRE ATT&CK, GRC tools (Archer)
  • Technical report writing for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Reviewing architecture diagrams, including network architecture.
  • Translating technical concepts into useful business language to influence positive security outcomes and decisions.
  • Working unsupervised for extended periods, handling multiple tasks and initiating deliverables without obvious start points.
  • Operating within Agile ways of working.


Communication

  • It is essential you can communicate advice clearly and persuasively and can present compelling arguments both written and spoken.
  • You will have experience in building good relationships at all levels across stakeholder groups and partner organisations
  • You will be able to work effectively in cross-functional teams with both business and technical stakeholders
