Cemetery & Crematorium in Manor Park

£15 per hour
Weekends = £22.50 per hour

Rota'd weeks Early/Late shifts
35 Hours per week

Early: 8am - 4pm
Late: 11.30am - 7pm

Days:
  • Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon Tue
  • (Wed & Thu off)

  • Dark Suit and tie
  • Sturdy Shoes

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • To control traffic entering and exiting the grounds.
  • To direct funeral corteges and the bereaved to various chapels within the cemetery.
  • Carry out security patrols, including use of CCTV equipment
  • Basic administrative duties
  • To operate audio and visual systems during crematorium chapel services.
  • Undertake training and exams as required.
  • Undertake duties outside office hours including weekends on a rota basis
  • To provide mini bus service at the weekend, requiring the use of 17 seat passenger vehicle
  • Provide first aid treatment when needed and achieve your first aid qualification (training provided)
  • General housekeeping
  • Deal with enquiries from the public
  • Ensure correct health & safety of the chapel at all times.

Required:

  • SIA License
  • Full UK manual Driving License
  • Good verbal communication skills
