Hays Technology are currently recruiting for an experienced Vulnerability Management Analyst to work directly for a multinational consultancy group.

You’ll be responsible for providing support to the vulnerability managers and the wider vulnerability programme. Completing vulnerability assessments, spotting trends and vulnerabilities that others might miss and reporting them to the resolver teams and escalating where required..

Your new role will involve

• Supporting with vulnerability identification, assessments and escalation of major vulnerabilities
• Supporting Vulnerability Managers and the Head of Vulnerability Management
• Keep up to date with vulnerability trends, new cyber threats, TTPs and exploits to aid group security
• Adopting a proactive, holistic approach and proposing innovative ideas to continually improve the vulnerability management programme
• Using your communication, interpersonal and presentational skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical staff, building relationships with wider teams and maintaining constructive working relationships.
• Using a holistic approach, offer insights based on your knowledge of the latest vulnerabilities, TTPs and cyber threats used by contemporary and historic threat actors
• Acting as an SME and contributing to the remediation of major vulnerabilities across the organisation
• Preparing reports, presentations, and metrics to deliver to senior staff to drive remediation improvement and visibility of major vulnerabilities
• Analyse vulnerability intel feeds to facilitate vulnerability remediation for penetration testers

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience within a vulnerability function, or hybrid vulnerability/threat function would be highly beneficial (i.e. Junior Vulnerability/threat analyst)
• Experience in a SOC or SIEM environment with a genuine passion for cybersecurity and an interest in vulnerability management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentational skills
• Knowledge of The Mitre Att&ck Framework
• Knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threats and their associated Tactics Techniques and Procedures.
