GCP Trainer (Content Creator) - Fully Remote

Global consultancy seeking to recruit a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Trainer to support with the global role out of a new GCP Business Intelligence tool.
 
The Role
You will be required to create content to be used to train business users on how to use new platform. This will cover basic fundamentals for non-technical users such as step by step guides covering how to best use the new UI, how to access and navigate functions, create reports and use dashboard functionality. Create step by step detailed training in consultation with technical team and quality of content created will be to be reviewed by the head of training. You are required to research training material which is available in Google cloud, collate & customize this training material to make it suitable for the delivery to the end client.
 
The Responsibilities

• Create training content for the business user on a new BI Google Cloud Platform
• Create e-learning training content and documentation for classroom training
• Draft the documents and instruction manuals
• You may also be required to deliver some training but this will not be your main responsibility
• Training based around how the users should use the new UI, tools, Dashboards and how to create reports etc
• Key responsibility is to create User Interfaced based training material

 
Background
The client is currently using an old data warehousing system based in Taradata back end and micro strategy front end, to create reports and dashboards etc. Staff used to run sequel scripts which will also be changed as this is being updated with Big Query and SQL back end. This has now changed and the backend is now Google Big Query with GCP front end.
 
 
Desirable but not essential (Technical) Skills
 
Technical understanding of GCP / Big Query / SQL – have the ability to explain the training and what are the different jobs that can be run in Big Query, how they can be run, how to write, save, import, expert a query and different SQL queries e.g. “select”. Terradata – understanding query examples, know the old tool and pick up new system quicker.
 
Contract Details

• Fully Remote, must be able to work Germany time zone,
• Immediate start / 6 -12 month contract
• Pay Rate - €300-€500 per day (higher rate will depend on technical ability in GCP
