Your new company

• Working for a local council based in the North-west region working off site. Sites will include offices, libraries, fleet services, day centres and homes. Hours will be standard 9am till 5pm, with some out of hours working at sites which cannot be closed during normal office opening hours.

Your new role

• The role is to support Service Engineers by undertaking ICT Technical tasks required to upgrade both wired and wireless networks. The role will be based in Preston, the candidate must be able to travel to the area or live near to Preston.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate must have Working knowledge in:

• CompTIA Network+ or
• Cisco CCNA
• Or equivalent from other vendors, HP, Aruba, etc.
• Practical LAN/WAN networking experience.
• Able to physically install and configure switches / Wi-Fi AP and routers into comms cabinets.
• Involved with a large Wi-Fi roll out.
• Be able to travel to Preston.
