The Role

The successful candidate will be based in the Watford office (and work from home) as part of the People Analytics team. This will involve working closely with all areas of the People function and the wider business as necessary. This is a fantastic development opportunity for anyone with a particular interest in Management Information.

Applicants will have hands on experience within a busy HRIS team across a wide range of HR related applications including reporting, data analytics and process improvement. Excellent communication and problem solving skills will also be required to succeed in this role.

The role holder maybe required to travel to other KPMG offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing reporting and analytics for the People function through the use of data from the HR systems landscape, maintaining high standards of accuracy and presentation
  • Administration & re-engineering of processes to support the wider People function, to leveraging technology to drive efficiencies
  • Drive through People information changes to support business processes and practices - gather and guide requirements, create specifications, work with developers to enable and test changes
  • Assist in and own the delivery of a number of People information projects and work as the technical expert in wider People function projects
  • Identifying and raising issues with data integrity and work with the appropriate teams to make improvements through training and documentation
  • Provide SAP, SuccessFactors, reporting and Excel support to the People Function and assist in training when required
  • Administration of a central mailbox, and responding to all queries in a timely manner


The Person

Skills & Experience

The successful individual should have a minimum of two years experience working in a similar role, ideally within HR but not essential.
  • Experience and understanding of other HR systems; including Recruitment, Benefits, Performance Management and Development, Learning
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft office applications in particular Microsoft Excel with a focus on complex formulae, data analysis and VBA
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting across numerous systems and datasets, must be highly numerate with data analysis skills and the ability to use these to drive data integrity and support function initiatives
  • Experience of gathering business requirements for system changes as well as advising on possibility functionality, creating functional specifications, working closely with technical resources, performing testing and driving through training and user adoption
  • Experience in administration of IT systems / databases, including knowledge of SQL, would be beneficial
  • Experience with current data visualisation tools will be an advantage (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik Sense or similar)
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload fed from various sources
  • Candidates should be capable of operating effectively day to day with minimal supervision. Referring to management when required.
