We are currently seeking a Head of Solution Architecture to be a part of our innovative team to provide leadership and decision making for all aspects of Solution Architecture across the technology ecosystems, IT programmes and BAU solutions.

A bit about the job:
As the Head of Solution Architecture, you will manage a team of solution architects, covering several different disciplines, providing technical design, and thought leadership across the Group. Along with developing high-level roadmaps for designated domains, technologies, or markets and ensure end to end solutions drive innovation, standardisation, and simplification. You will manage a specialised and talented team and will be expected to ensure that they are working in the most effective way possible.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Solid understanding of solution architecture approaches and frameworks
  • A strong leader with experience in solution architecture and leading solution architecture teams in regulated environments
  • Strong stakeholder management across all levels of an organisation, with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of industry frameworks and tools (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman etc)
  • Previous experience in IT Industry standards, services, design, architecture, principles design, architecture views and viewpoint design, building block design, solutions modelling and systems behaviour

What you'll get for this role:
  • Salary between £110,000 - £150,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Generous pension (starting level Aviva contributes 8% when you contribute 2%)
