Responsibilities of an Incident Response Manager: - Actively lead remediation activities for a variety of clients whilst coordinating with wider teams within the organisation - Mature client’s incident response containment plans and advise them on their remediation strategies employed - Serve as a subject matter expert to clients and the organisation advising them on the best current practices - Actively working across the full lifecycle of security incidents to help them respond and recover from incidents - Gathering intelligence on threat actors to understand techniques used to compromise organisations - Assist with the professional development of junior members within the Incident Response team to develop the organisational capabilities - Providing verbal updates or written reports to internal/external stakeholders with non-technical backgrounds Requirements of an Incident Response Leader: - 7+ years’ experience working within Incident Response - Previously experience working as case lead within incident response for 1 year - Previous experience working within a consultancy/MDR/MSP/MSSP - Relevant industry certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, EnCE, CFSR, CISSP, GREM, CCNA, MCFE, Network+ and Security+ are highly desirable
