Are you an enthusiastic Front-End Developer, who is passionate about all things web and new technology?

It's an exciting time to join our Digital Platform Team! We're building innovative ways to engage with new and existing customers, on a portfolio of products that reach out to 17 million customers globally. The digital team sits at the forefront of delivering our strategy, they create not only brand-new experiences, but also make small changes to continually evolve existing products and to enhance code quality against our core development principles.

A bit about the job:
As a Front-End Developer, you will be involved with translating creative visions into beautiful implementations, whilst working within a highly skilled team to produce the best solutions possible. You'll need to be an expert in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as having experience with producing accessible and responsive layouts and a strong appreciation of core software engineering principles.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Excellent understanding and experience of both HTML5 and CSS2 and their interpretation by various modern and legacy web browsers
  • Solid understanding of "vanilla" JavaScript (ES5/ES2015) and Highcharts/other data visualisation libraries.
  • A good level of understanding of source control tools, preferably Git
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team within an Agile setting
