Job Description
This tech firm has been established for 20 years and now has private equity backing to take the business to the next level via increased funding. They are undertaking a security maturity and transformation project and, as part of this, they are seeking to make a new Cyber Security Engineer hire.
In this role you will report directly to the Head of Information Security and will be a Security SME in the IT infrastructure team, supporting projects, implementing security tools, building security solutions, automating security controls, and writing scripts.
This is a linux and AWS environment so the ideal candidate will have exposure to both environments as a security engineer. You should have a good understanding of a scripting language such as Python, Powershell or Bash.
This is a highly creative environment where the teams work in an agile way and using open collaboration, breaking silos and ensuring that security is a business enabler.
The role is offered as fully remote from anywhere in the UK.
