NetReveal® is a successful global technology business division of BAE Systems Applied Intelligence. The NetReveal® suite of solutions is deployed by leading banks, insurers and government organisations to prevent financial crime and ensure regulatory compliance. In addition to software development, sales and support functions, NetReveal® provides consultancy and implementation services.

Role Profile

A Product Consultant is responsible for configuring the NetReveal product according to the client's requirements. This individual will be provided with training in the NetReveal product configurator, but should be technically competent in the use of software development tools and web applications.

Inside the team you will be a link between Technical and Business Consultants, using your experience to deliver fine-tuned solutions to the Client (global top tier financial institutions).

A Product Consultant is responsible for configuring the NetReveal product according to the client's requirements. This individual will be provided with training in the NetReveal product configurator, but should be technically competent in the use of software development tools and web applications.

Minimum requirements
  • An minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a technical role - programming, technical/IT support or installing software products, or
  • An IT/Engineering graduate who has 1-2 years post-graduate work experience spent working closely with technology and end users of software, ideally in a consulting / client-facing role.


Core Responsibilities
  • Configuring the NetReveal Product for client projects as part of a project team. This involves using the NetReveal product configurator to customise NetReveal according to the client requirements. Modules requiring customising include:

- Case Management screens

- Workflow processes

- Watch list rules for Name Matching and Swift payment filtering

- Detection scenarios for Transaction Monitoring

- Reports

- User security
  • Working from Functional and Product specifications and reproducing the configuration in the Product according to these documents.
  • Executing test cases to validate the product configurations built.
  • Executing regression testing (QA) on releases of Product to go to the client.
  • Documentation of Product configurations for Clients.
  • Trouble-shooting issues that arise in the course of configuring software and ensuring these issues are ultimately resolved to the satisfaction of the project manager.
  • Working with Product and Customer Engineering and internal support teams to replicate client issues.
  • Assuming responsibility for resolving issues relating to product configuration e.g. inconsistencies or gaps in standard documentation or automated installation processes.
  • Identifying improvements to our software, processes or supporting documentation.


Experience, Competencies & Skills
  • Good working knowledge of SQL, preferably Oracle.
  • Sufficient technical knowledge to be able to install software, configure test environments, etc.
  • Operating Systems Linux, Windows
  • Database Oracle, DB2, other relational databases
  • Database languages / tools (DDL, PL/SQL programming)
  • Application Servers Websphere, JBOSS
