My client is recruiting a Senior Security Analyst who has a strong technical background with an in-depth knowledge of security systems; coupled with strong knowledge of NIST or ISO27001 frameworks to assist and maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of organisational data, products and systems.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced technical team in defining, assessing and mitigating security controls, risks and threats across the network. The successful candidate will report to the ICT Technical Infrastructure Manager, working closely with all ICT teams to embed security controls across the organisation.
My client is looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience of IT security in medium to large corporate environments. Experience of organising vulnerability and patch management processes and the ability to manage external pen test partners is essential for this role. Strong stakeholder engagement skills are also required with all levels of the organisation as you will be a key SME on various project boards.
The role will be based in Gloucester, just off the M5 and offers benefits including excellent pension, flexible working within core hours, free parking, on-site gym, canteen and many active Sports and Social Clubs.
