Job description
Manager - IGH Technology Risk
We have fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our IGH Technology Risk team.
Many of our clients are investing in technology to enable greater efficiency, improve public services and to enable new ways of working.  At the same time, they are restricted in their ambitions by a lack of confidence and are nervous of working with new technologies and providers.  As a result we are investing in growing our technology risk team and programme assurance capability to provide the support they need.
We are keen to recruit talented people who have the energy and drive to succeed in a dynamic and challenging environment and who have a passion for delivering excellent service and building strong relationships.
We believe we are market leaders in promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace and want to encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and cultures.
Take a look at our website with the link below to see "What Makes Us Different" and to give you access to our Tech Risk and IRM Knowledge management page

The Team - National Markets (IGH) Consulting
IGH is Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare. Our dedicated sector team are committed to helping our clients to develop and deliver key UK public services and infrastructure. We aim to make a difference.
Our IGH team offer a wide variety of assurance related advisory services including IT internal audit, IT risk management, data strategy, programme assurance, SOC reporting, IT due diligence and business process controls.  We are proud of helping our clients to innovate and navigate regulatory and governance challenges along the way and work closely alongside other specialist technology teams in IT Consulting such as our CIO Advisory, Cyber and Data Analytics teams.
We service our IGH clients from our hubs in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds.
The team works in an agile and flexible manner, with plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and gain new knowledge. We are keen to support and develop our people to enable them to be the best they can be.

Roles and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to:
•    Help to grow our IGH Technology Risk business nationally.
•    Work to support our Technology Risk service leads in ensuring a consistent, high quality approach to service delivery.
•    Work with the IGH Technology Risk team to deliver the IGH R&RDT strategy and achieve our growth ambitions.
•    Maintain and build a network of contacts who are potential buyers of Tech Risk services in IGH.
•    Support the development and delivery of target strategies in one or two specific markets for Tech Risk services.
•    Build a network of contacts with a focus on potential buyers of Tech Risk services.
•    Support the delivery of work to key clients to maximise quality, minimise risk to KPMG and build client relationships.
•    Develop internal networks and maintaining relationships with colleagues across other teams within KPMG.
•    Coach and develop more junior team members on engagements.
•    Contribute to practice management, e.g. training, proposition development, and knowledge management.
•    Conducting fieldwork and managing and supervising project teams in delivery of such assignments.
•    Assisting with scoping, internal financial management, managing delivery risk, production and initial review of deliverables.
Qualifications, Experience and Background
We expect that you will have:
•    A strong professional profile with an existing network and proven track record.
•    Success in developing and selling professional services.
•    Existing UK Government Security Clearance or the ability to obtain this to SC level based upon UK residence and background check requirements.
•    Experience in a technology risk and control / audit environment.
•    Excellent communication skills and report writing skills.
•    Ability to develop excellent relationships both internally and with clients.
•    Capability to deliver work within tight timescales to a high quality.
•    Relevant professional qualifications for the role.
•    Experience of risk management, programme delivery and IT strategy.

It would also be useful (but not a deal-breaker) if you have:
•    IGH market credibility, experience, knowledge and capability.
•    Ability to identify and assess complex IT risks and controls, to relate them to the wider business environment and to express opinions clearly at all levels.
•    Agile Project Management Training (Agile PM, SAFe, Scrum master or other industry recognised certification).
•    A good understanding of technology platforms.
