Senior Digital Product Owner
Salary between £60,000 - £80,000

As part of the Customer & Marketing function, we're on a mission in Digital to build a smart, simple experience across app and web that saves our customers time and gives them confidence. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced digital product owner who can bring the best out of a team. We're after someone who is hungry for the challenge of building the new digital journeys and products that will transform our Life business, mainly within MyAviva and MyWorkplace, our customer portal, but with the potential to expand to other new proposition in the future. If you're energised by motivating others, with the resources available to deliver a step change for the hundreds of thousands of Life customers who use our products every week, this is the job for you.

A bit about the job:
This role covers all our Life products, including Pensions, Wealth, Health and Protection. Working with our Life Digital team, you'll collaborate to define the product vision and roadmap, as well as managing how work is delivered effectively within your team of product owners.

Customer satisfaction is at our core, so staying close to our performance and taking the right action to manage and increase it is key to our purpose. You'll also join our MyAviva senior leadership team, contributing to the wider growth of our platform and supporting strategic decisions and opportunities.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Proven record: A strong delivery portfolio underpinned by Agile techniques (certification preferred e.g. ICAgile, PSPO)
  • People skills: Developing cross function relationships, removing complexity and motivating a team.
  • Storytelling: Helping customers and stakeholders understand our products' value now and in the future.
  • Data focus: Utilising insight to make decisions, centred on our customers, performance and results.
  • Evangelism: Cultivating growth in our product community by sharing experience and insight.

What you'll get for this role:
  • Salary between £60,000 - £80,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Generous pension (starting level Aviva contributes 8% when you contribute 2%)
  • Eligibility for annual performance bonus
  • Family friendly parental and carer's leave
  • 29 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days
  • Up to 40% discount for Aviva products
  • Brilliant flexible benefits including electric cars
  • Aviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme
  • 21 volunteering hours per year
