Cyber Security Consultant / Data Protection Officer

London – Hybrid (Office - Site - Home) 

£55K – £65K

Our client is looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to help organisations overcome security challenges and advise on enhancing security risk posture, and act as a Data Protection Officer internally.
A unique mix of consulting and in house – this is a senior position offering commission as well of opportunity to develop skills and progress in your career, within a dedicated cyber security consulting company.

Role of a Cyber Security Consultant / Data Protection Officer

• Primarily working on client assignments, Work alongside the sales team to further grow the customer base and develop the business.
• Delivering and leading consulting projects, advising across cyber security with particular focus on GRC
• You will be a key stakeholder on the company’s internal security team, involved in the review of policies and standards, facilitating audits and acting as the Data Protection Officer (DPO)

Requirements of a Cyber Security Consultant / Data Protection Officer

• Experience working collaboratively with clients to understand cyber security risks and develop effective solutions
• Experience Leading response to Data Protection Requests
• Working knowledge of information security frameworks (ISO, NIST, NCSC, etc)
