Job description
This role can be based in any of the following offices: Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester or Watford.

Job Purpose
This role supports the award-winning student recruitment team, primarily through management of the end-to-end recruitment process and involvement in attraction activities to recruit diverse talent. The Officer role plays a key part in a team that is dedicated to ensuring KPMG's undergraduate, graduate and apprenticeship programmes have a strong profile at target universities/schools and its recruitment process is leading within its industry. The Officer will work closely with the Coordinator cohort in order to provide an efficient, high quality, client focused service for applicants and the business alike, throughout the recruitment process.

Recruitment Operations
  • Working closely with your Assistant Manager to have efficient management of allocated candidate pipelines using an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Manage the candidate journey from application through to onboarding.
  • Closely monitor the number of candidates coming through the process, to ensure appropriate focus is placed on target routes. Escalating to Assistant Managers when needed.
  • Provide regular and robust Management Information through reporting of pipelines
  • Screen and assess candidate application forms against a variety of entry criteria, including international qualifications.
  • Progress applications through the recruitment process in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Support with organising, coordinating and facilitating KPMG's Launch Pads, Apprenticeship Assessment Centres, and other assessment stages.
  • Delivering a positive candidate journey by responding to telephone and inbox enquiries in line with SLAs.
  • Support with the organisation and delivery of our work experience programmes.
  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders within the business, building relationships to gain their support as assessors and event volunteers.
  • Delivering outcomes to candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Attraction and Outreach
  • Work with the Attraction team to plan, promote and deliver campaigns and events with given target universities/schools.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with university/school contacts, including careers services, partnerships and societies.
  • Plan and execute involvements on campus to support the recruitment of target headcount.

Officers will work on ad hoc projects as part of their role. These include, but are not limited to, post offer, diversity and inclusion initiatives, external partnerships and campus sponsorships.

The Person
  • Experience within recruitment or working with students.
  • Passionate about Student Recruitment and creating a positive candidate experience.
  • Clear understanding of the Student Recruitment Cycle and a good knowledge of the marketplace.
  • Strong IT skills, notably Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, being able to independently manage their own workload and responsibilities whilst recognising when to escalate concerns.
  • Ability to produce high quality work, paying close attention to detail.
  • Drive and commitment to improving diversity and inclusion within professional services.
  • Flexibility to work within a fast-paced environment, being able to adapt to change quickly and positively.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders of varying management levels.
  • A confident presenter.
  • Team player with a willingness to support others when their workload is reaching capacity.
  • Comfortable operating in a virtual environment.

Whilst this role is office based, you may be required to travel to KPMG offices and some events around the country (subject to Covid-19 restrictions) - this could require overnight stays on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year.
