Hays Technology are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer who is experienced in Operational Technology to join a global food manufacturing and processing organisation. Based out of Nuneaton you will be playing a key role in delivering the OT Cyber Security agenda across their UK manufacturing and logistics sites.

You will be responsible for improving the Cyber Security posture of OT applications and infrastructure, applying best practice controls, including patching, end point protection, appropriate baselines and privileged access management processes to ensure continued performance, availability and function. The delivery of cyber security improvements aligned to the ICS Assessment framework, IEC-62443 audits and OT Cyber Security management system.

Managing technical change, with appropriate assessment of risk, recovery processes and communications to ensure successful delivery. Providing documentation and effective communication related to cyber security initiatives, to enable effective implementation of systems change and support processes.

What we're looking for:

• Previously experienced in a comparable technical role, preferably within an operational environment.
• Technically knowledgeable in cyber security best practices to a high level
• Able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of cyber security best practice and controls, and their application within an organisation to improve security posture.
• Aware of common ICS equipment, and its connectivity, communication and the cyber security threat within industrial environments is preferred.
• An excellent communicator who can listen to, understand and document requirements and processes, and provide updates to key stakeholders.
